NOTICE OF VACANCY OF OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF
THE BAYSHORE SANITARY DISTRICT
  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Directors of the Bayshore Sanitary District (“District”), that a vacancy on the Board of Directors is effective March 31, 2018 as a result of the resignation of Walter Quinteros, District Director, whose term of office expires in November 2020.

     The District Board of Directors may fill in the vacancy under the procedures of the Government Code Section 1780 appointing an individual to the office.

     Candidates for this position must reside within the District boundaries and be a registered voter at least 18 years of age. An appointed individual must, upon appointment, complete and file an Economic Interest Statement as required by law.

A Glance at the District - About Us

Bayshore Sanitary District is an independent Special District of the State of California, located in northern San Mateo County. The District was originally formed in 1925 under Section 6400 et seq. of the California Health & Safety Code and provides sanitary sewer services to portions of Daly City and Brisbane. See our Service Area.

The District currently operates and maintains 15 miles of sanitary sewers and one pumping station. Wastewater treatment and disposal services are provided by the SFPUC’s Southeast Treatment Plant.

Monthly Public Board Meetings

The District is a public agency administered by a duly elected 5-member Board of Directors.

Meetings are usually held monthly at 7:00 P.M. on the posted dates to discuss the District business. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.
